The new intranet is now online. There are significant changes over the old intranet and new features will be introduced over the coming months. A summary of the new features are as follows:
Room Booking The room booking works much the same as before with the exception of you can now view the bookings for each room over a full week.
Helpdesk The helpdesk has now been made even easier to use and has been expanded to accomodate a wider range of IT problems. You will also now be mailed when new followups are posted to any ticket that you have opened.
Articles A new articles section has been added which allows users to create their own webpages through a web browser. A demonstration and staff training will follow soon to give an insight into creating content to be placed on the intranet.
